"Live" slideshow LR2.6

I am wirelessly sending photos from my 1DsMkIII to my MacBook.

I have LR 2.6 set up to "auto-import" these files from a watch folder, into an event folder, then display them on a second monitor as a slideshow.

All straight forward so far.

However, the problem is LR will not display "new" images (in its slideshow) as they arrive.

In other words, if I stop the slideshow and restart, it shows images that are present in the folder at the point that I click Start (they do not need to actually be "selected"), any that arrive after that are ignored until I stop/start it again - its driving me crazy.

Anyone got any idea if it will do what I expect it to.
