I purchased a Tamron 17-50mm from amazon.com
It arrived today.
When I opened it, there was lint all around the body of the lens. I opened it, there was a fingerprint smudge inside the rear lens. There was dust on the lens, both rear and front. There is also dust inside the zoom rubber grooves.
This is obviously not a new lens.
Are they (amazon.com) along with other resellers, allowed to just repackage returned items and sell them as "new"?

I don't know if I should call up amazon.com or not, since I know they track your history of returns and will blacklist you. Even when it's their fault!
