Just thought it would be interesting to set up a fairly exhaustive equipment poll.

So, check off all the equipment you bring with you to a typical wedding. I've included just about every lens Canon makes (or has made or will make (e.g., 1ds IV), so I fully expect that some will not be checked at all. Nonetheless, we should still be able to view a fairly informative trend. I hope that this may be helpful to some "which lens" questioners, but also a lot of fun.

I did a quick search through the forum and didn't see this anywhere else. Maybe I'm blind, in which case you can ignore/chastise me. :)

Of course, feel free to add comments in the thread proper.

Let's see how this works!

I'll go first

NB: I realize now that I have failed to add any EF-S lenses. My bad. If I could add them to the poll I would. Mod? Can you help a fellow out?

That is some comprehensive list! (I checked off the Canon 15mm fish for my Sigma fish.)

That one wasn't added, the 17-55? Wow. That one is a popular one here. Might need to add that one. Let me see what to do.

It's impossible to capture it all, but there's also non-Canon lenses. I use two for my SWA; a Sigma 10-20 and a Tokina FE. Of course, there's also flash and triggers, but the list might require more than one page.

Thanks! I've actually compiled a list of to-be-added lenses:

EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5
EF-S 15-85 f/3.5-5.6 IS
EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS
EF-S 17-85 f/4-5.6 IS
EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS
EF-S 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS
EF-S 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 IS
EF-S 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS
EF-S 60 f/2.8
EF 24-105 f/4L IS

I sure hope I haven't forgotten anything else. I'd be more than happy to do the entry, I know it's a pain.

I know. I purposely didn't even try that. As you can see, I forgot even some of the popular CANON lenses. :)

How about the Non-Canon lenses, like the Tamron 28-75, a favorite here.

I'm thinking now, in hindsight, if I can add more options to the poll...I will add all the Sigma/Tamron lenses as well.

No surprises thus far... lots of 5D2's & 70-200's.

Thanks! I've actually compiled a list of to-be-added lenses:

Yep, probably a ton of 17-55's out there.

I think a more interesting thread would be to ask what non-gear items are in your bag. I might make one later today :)

No point voting since the options aren't all there. 24-105, 10-22, Sigma 30 are missing. Once you vote you can't change your vote.
