a local camera store was clearing out a bunch of stuff and i picked up a Blue / Yellow polarizer for 2 dollars....
seems to just add a tint of blue or yellow depending on how you rotate it
anyone know what this could be used for?

If so, you *may* need to make a few adjustments in post (WB and Tint)...what you see in the VF may not be what you see in the captured image. Shooting with film is another story...what you see is what you get and no other adjustments would be necessary. But with digital, you most likely will need to make the adjustments. For $2, its worth playing with. Here's a link to the S-R Gold-N-Blue polarizer with regard to RAW adjustments: "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son". - Dean Wormer
