After upgrading to FF from an XT, I found I wasn't using my 50 1.4 and 70-200L 2.8 as much as I used to so I sold 'em. Now I'm looking to buy some new glass.

My budget is around $3500 and these lenses will be used for travel/portraiture/available light shooting.

I was thinking the 24L II and the 85L II… but I could save up a few more bucks and get the 35L, 17-40L & 85L II. I'm open to suggestions and really want to know what you think.

No idea what to say. You said what lenses you don't shoot. What do you shoot?

Why were you not using the lenses you sold? They would seem like naturals for me to shoot travel/portraiture/available light.

I only have one lens left, the 24-70L.

I didn't find the 50 1.4 to be useable until stopped down and I wasn't stoked on the focal length on full frame. It worked well on the XT since it was effectively an 80mm.

As for the 70-200, it was a great lens but I would get the IS the next time around.

70-200 f2.8 IS is a great lens, why not get it?

With a FF body and a 24-70L, adding the 70-200 2.8L IS would give you quality IQ and quite a bit of focal range. Having said this I just sold my 70-200F4L and replaced it with the 135L 2.0.

Go for the 70-200 2.8 IS, I have it and it is fantastec Lence. If you care about the weight since you mention travel 24-105 L would be a good choice too.
