I was lucky enough to be in Japan for the Suzuka GT 300km, first round of the Japanese super GT series. Not only did I step foot on the world famous Suzuka circuit I was one of the lucky ones to see the new Honda HSV-010 GT in action, all I can say is "wow!". The sounds that this beast screams is so very sexy, sad to say on race day two of the new Honda's got caught up in a massive crash and that was the end of those guys. One however did finish in 3rd position, so yey to him. I did take lots of photos but I never shoot motorsports so be gentle but I would love your C&C. Enjoy!

Well for not ever shooting Motorsports before these pictures are amazing. I also like your composition in 2 and 4.

I saw video of that wreck, looked nasty. Biggest pain seemed to be the tire barrier catching fire though. hah.

As mentioned, those are pretty dang nice for a "first attempt" =)

Thanks guys. I would have loved to have had more zoom and I was jealous of all the 500mm L series lenses walking around me. :D

Aah.. Good good! Glad all that research did not go to waste. Looks a little bit on the uglier side but still prettier than the Porsche fast toads :-)

Here's to hoping they make it into ALMS at some point and whup on Ferrari and Porsche.
