she looks like a plastic doll.. it's ok though. practice more and you will learn how to trike a balance in skin processing. Actually this kind of PP is going out of style anyway ":)

Hehe, she does look like a plastic doll and I was actually sorta going for that.
Here's the "original" one I did first with a bit less processing and more life in it:

honestly i like the original a lot better. It is not glamour, but not every type of face is a beauty shot face.
The second has awesome processing on eyes, and its not bad at all. I'd convert it to BW to enhance facial details.

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it.

I like the original (2nd image) better too.

Looks like you started with a hot/over exposed forehead to start with. Wouldn't it have just been easier to have her do her makeup appropriately before the shoot instead of trying to fix her face with a bunch of photoshop tricks?

Normally Misha is correct but now Im surprised
Personally I think skin work is done just right. My only problem is the photo itself and how its lit. There are 3 large hotspots and that combined with skinwork makes her face look flat. There is almost no separation between bridge of the nose and area below her right eye. There are lots of details on her skin in areas where the skin is lit correctly so I wouldnt say she looks like a doll but thats just another opinion. Read my signature lol :D

I'm just trying stuff out and practicing. Got my first SLR in november... Pic is from my second shoot ever and she's just a friend that agreed to let me shoot her.
