I've tried in the past w/a 40D, 70-200 f2.8L plus 1.4X. I was never able to find one that I wanted to post.:oops: I tried tonight with my 1D MK IV, a 300 f4.0L plus 1.4X.

great job, i took the same shot last night, not as in focus as yours. I have a hard time with manual focus at times, but will try again tonight

Both are Nice shots!
However, I would have sharpened it up some which would help to enhance the crater detail.

Thanks for the advice. I did sharpen one of them for a print(after I posted these) and that made a lot of differrence.

Here is one that I took the next evening. I did unmask in CS4. I did not keep track of the data but as I recall 75%, .8 radius and 0 threashhold. It's in need of some additional work which I probably won't do. I'm just shooting and having fun.:) Thanks for looking.
