lol, i'm gonna have to wait to actually purchase it--but i am leaning towards it!

You can't lean on a lens. ;) You buy it then use it. ;)

wow i need to stop clicking on these threads, my mk I is only 3 months old and i want to replace it already "(

It's really up to the person who owns the MK I and wants to upgrade to the Mk II. No one is pulling your arm to buy it. :);)

I'll be by later to pick this lens up. I'm going to have to quarantine it for a while! I might let you know when you can pick it up. Can't wait to see this lens in person.

Hmm. I haven't even taken 500 pictures with my MK1 and now it's replacement is here. Sounds like a nice lens.

I'm with you on that buddy. Canon really needs to update the 24-70. :)

I agree, if they can keep up the good stuff with the probably new 24-70, I'll be definitely getting one.

I for one would like to see it be an internal zoom. I don't know if that's possible.

agreed. That would be awesome....one nicely weather-sealed lens. But also probably kind of heavy...not that I mind.

The weather sealing for a lens of this caliber would be awesome and expensive. :)
