Please critique my newborn shot

This is my very first time attempting newborn shots, and i only took about 10 shots before:
1)she started crying as i just woke her up from a nap;
2)camera battery died.

setup considered of a black felt backdrop from a local arts and crafts store
50D, manual settings, AWB and 580ex camera mounted.

this weekend, i'm going to try again, this time with an all white backdrop with a 430ex firing into the backdrop, a 580ex mounted above right or left of the baby, with an aluminum foil reflector.

IMAGE NOT FOUND

please critique this shot and tell me where to improve. Honesty greatly appreciated

Second, its too dark, your setup for this weekend will prove to best this one I am sure;)

try to keep her asleep for a more peaceful mood. search the kids forum for "newborn" to get some ideas for posing, etc.
