1st stork of the year and 1st half decent BIF

The storks arrived back in our little hamlet, they are he most photographically friendly birdies we have... This is quite a tight crop but am looking forward to practicing

Very nice. A perfect angle on this one. The wingspan is impressive.

Storks are clumsy looking on the ground, but in flight are just beautiful and graceful.. Lovely shot.

Thanks for the comments, glad these fellas are back as they should offer plenty of practice and improve my abilities to capture the other birds that have left me frustrated over the last few months...

They certainly are exceptionallly graceful in flight but on the ground they are amusing and incredibly awkward.
