These didn't come out as sharp as I wanted, so I need to put some more thought in to how I do them and try again...I still thought they were rather fun though. The little chap had a ball jumping up and down for me and I think that comes across - which I guess is half the battle.

I think they are great...a little motion blur adds to them. Adorable!


Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Thanks, Maureen. :) My son was so keen to do these it was amazing!

I shot them at 1/500s and thought that would be sufficient to freeze the blur but obviously not. The first ones I took were limited by my sync speed with my studio type flash so I did these with hotshoe flashes and HSS. Better, but still not frozen motion,
