Muay, those kickboxing (muay tai or MMA?) pics are great. I used to compete in Kempo in the U.S., but after a bad leg break, my kickboxing days are over haha. It's ok, It's much nicer not being smacked around these days!!

Rafa. Thanks again. I just unfold it and wipe away. No wonder i get the residue. S95/T2i

They have an off-white tone and really subdued saturation on the skin tones, but I take it that was probably intentional. I am wishing for a extreme closeup of a face, but that's just my obsession with movie-like crops of faces ![]() @ranger50, I was going to say that given the whiteness of the snow, I would have preferred the images in color instead of b&w when I saw the right portion of the first image showing some greens and the fence in color. These are both color images, right? If they are, its amazing how you managed almost B&W images out there. The feeling of cold and loneliness is strong. I would have tried a post production coloring the lake blue to provide contrast but I like them as they are. The only thing I'm missing is, on the second image, the end of the tree to the right, just across the stream... since that is probably the 'main' tree, I would have liked to see its tip. Thanks for sharing, hope you bring many more winter images to our thread. Rafa. Thank you for your feedback. Yes they are color images, and were taken in the AV mode. I was trying to let the images speak for how cold and lonely the day was. It's almost feeling as though they were taken in the long ago past, and thats what I was trying to capture. These shots are as they came from the camera( T2i ) the only exception was some cropping. You are right about the tree, I was mad at myself after I had cropped it out, but thats how we learn I guess. Thank you for your response. EOS 60D/ 70-200L/ Sunpak PF30X/ Sunpak 6600PG platinum Plus ball head Tripod 59.95 / Pelican S.S. Large Military Camera case

They are great images that convey powerful feelings and dramatic conditions! Knowing that it is a 'dressed rehearsal' only provides the relief that there were no actual injuries but takes away none of the strength of the images! Excellent skills!! Hope there is more to come in the future (hopefully never real ones though! ),Rafa. Wow. Thanks a lot man. My Photostream:

The wind was blowing which gave this white-out fog look. I just liked the color. ![]() Nice shot. I can feel the cold. Keep them coming. I am very happy with my choice of buying the T2i. I am getting Pro results, an amazing camera. Maybe Camera of the year for what it costs, compared to what it gives. Don't you think?
