I'm glad Vectoria and n4ck! Both Avatars are looking great, but n4ck, you'll excuse me if I think Vectoria's is a bit more handsome! :) Great portrait Vecotria. If you feel brave, that Self Portrait thread I posted above will compliment your looks for several pages! ;)

Well, back photo sharing! :) (not from me though, nothing to report today :( )

Rafa.

Are you brave? where is your self portrait? lol Thanks for your help:)

Hahahaha... LOL! I have my self portrait in my Avatar and I have posted several of them in the past. My head-shot was done with a Sony Cybershot, so I don't post it there, but its time to make a new one with the new equipment, I agree. For what is worth, here's me in three different setups:

Working (not shot with a T2i):

Working in a less security-critical environment:

And here is me during this new-year's celebrations :) :

You are loosing by 3 now! :) LOL... best regards,

Rafa.

...I mananged to get 22 CDs filled with photos today (and got those photos off my hard drive). Still have more to do, but tomorrow's another day.

Annie, that is a crazy amount of work! Have you considered purchasing an external Hard Drive? I believe they are the less gigabyte-expensive medium. A CD carries 700MB (well, depends, but on average) and costs around $0.5 or so, depending how many you buy. A 1TB Hard Drive (1400 CDs worth of capacity, or $700) costs $70 on Amazon.

You could purchase two of them and have redundant info and much easier work than burning all those CDs?

I'm looking at that myself right now, as I am running out of space.

Rafa.

Yeah. As I sat here all day with my eyes screaming for help, I thought maybe an external terabyte or two might not be a bad idea. Gotta wait til payday (or later) though.

Good night Vectoria. Have a nice run tomorrow!

Marubozo, is that a composite image or did you actually smashed those with the ball? At any rate, when are your kids and wife coming back? :) No, seriously, you have my respects for trying to find a photo motif everywhere! Nice going.

Rafa.

Alright, kids...the day you've all been waiting for.

Finances haven't gotten any better... so I'm (regrettably) selling my 70-200. It's up for grabs on the for sale forums.

Need it to go to a good home.

Man this picture makes me cringe! It's like seeing a cheetah racing towards a defenseless baby. Please tell me no alcohol was spilled in the making of this photo.
