Don't you just love surprises when you open a photo and see it really large?

Great shot - Annie~! However, this really makes me quiver.. the thought of what that Giraffe is tasting at that moment... *shudders*

Actually, believe it or not - the 55-250mm @ 194mm...

I was also quite happy with the outcome, as walking around I was quite irritated I'd left my 100mm behind, I just didn't feel like lugging two lenses around on a walk, not to mention I don't have a suitable means to carry the lot.. Next on my list (ha ha.. about 50 'nexts' on that list) will be a walk-around bag to take the cam + extra lens..

But I wanted the 55-250 for the range as I was hoping to get some game shots.. which, I was lucky enough to do :)

Lovely shots. I'm so jealous that you get to see these amazing animals in the wild. I have to get most of my wildlife at zoos.

Unfortunately, I'll probably never be able to afford it, but a photo safari to Africa has been on my "bucket list" forever.

:) Anne

Thanks. I actually didn't notice it until I downloaded the photo and took a good look at it in CS2.

This is the original shot before I cropped it:

What I'm enjoying about the T2i (after upgrading from the XS) is not just the better ISO performance, but the ability to crop. I've been able to crop much deeper into my photos with decent results.

Thank you. bw!
