It's a Rhacodactylus ciliatus. Commonly known as a Crested Gecko. This one in particualar is a Tiger Dalmatian and her name is Noodle.

I got her the same day I got my T2i so shes been my #1 subject so far.

that is just a cool looking little dude. I just read a little about them. I kind of want to get one now...

I used to have a Gecko years ago but I ended up giving him up before I went into the military. I should get another one. They are cool little critters.

http://en.wikipedia.org …ed_neutral_density_filter (external link)

simple way to describe is a piece of glass with gradual density. Grey and clear color in a piece of glass put in front of your lense by using an adapter.
By this way, u able to drag your shutter long enough to able make the water look smoky and the sky wont expose :)

hey guys! lately i have been debating between 17-55 and 24-105. i think im leaning towards 24-105, pnly if i could find something fast to go with this. what would you guys/gals advise to pair with this? i will need something for indoors thats fast. i already have the 50 1.4, i think i might need something more wider than this. oh, and i already heard a lot about the sigma 30 1.4, any other choice i have?

Exactly what I did. I had the 17-55IS but traded it for a 24-105L simply because I was at the long end of the 17-55 90% of the time. Yes 17-55 is killer on crop I agree but 17-24mm was wasted FL for me as I rarely go below 24mm. I then had to change my lens setup from 17-55/70-200/50 1.4 to now trying to get 24-105/70-200 for general zoom and wither 28/85 primes also for lowlight. The other option you got is the 28 f/1.8. Good for lowlight and gives you a 44.8mm prespective on crop. There is also the 35 f/2 which is a good lens. I traded my 50 1.4 for an 85 1.8 because the FL did not fit me. All in all it just depends on what you need for FL and and your budget. Hope this helps.
