187 images stacked. 30 seconds f/4 ISO 800. Used a flashlight to "paint" the dock on 5 frames. I've tried trails before stacking at ISO 400, but seems 800 makes them pop even more.

Nice idea, but I'm not sure if I should be looking at the star trails or the light-painted dock, as they are competing for my attention.

Dock is too bright for me, giving it too much emphasis. Wonder if it would work better if you could tone it down a bit?

I don't care much for the flashlight . I prefer original shots of surroundings got one without the flashlight ?
