Lent out my 50mm 1.4 to a friend on vacation this weekend, won't be back until Monday Evening.

My EF-S lenses (which are now sold) don't fit.

My 70-200 Sigma was just sold this morning.

Fedex said they would deliver my new 5D Mkii Monday.. but it just came in about 15 minutes ago. It's staring at me with it's mount capped.

The torture of wanting to take a picture but not having any lenses!!
Going to charge batteries and pretend to take pictures now.
:o

You want torture, try this:

I order my 7D from NewEgg, and they sent it via USPS on the 17th. Mail usually takea about 11 days to get here to Iraq. Ive gotten a package almost everyday this week, but its been false calls. Sometimes the mail trucks do run do to weather or "black routes" so now I'm waiting in limbo hoping that my camera arrives soon.....

^ this

or you can check for sensor dust by shooting with no lens or cap on the body.. although I imagine that would get boring after 1 or 2 times :D

congrats on the 5D2

BestBuy has a 14 day return policy IIRC. So just buy whatever you want and return it Monday. I think they carry the 55-250 in stores most of the rest is online only. Not the most ethical thing I suppose ........ but you get to take some shots this way. :D
