BestBuy has a 14 day return policy IIRC. So just buy whatever you want and return it Monday. I think they carry the 55-250 in stores most of the rest is online only. Not the most ethical thing I suppose ........ but you get to take some shots this way.

It's bad enough that you suggest that the OP "cheat" the system, but then you recommend an EF-S lens.

Hey I said it wasn't ethical....EF-S is all they carry in stock is actually what I said..... I wouldn't call that a recommendation just a fact. I completely missed the 5D part in the original post DOH! lol. Oh well.

Oh. I see.

So.. got teased even worse today. Went over to my friend's house 2 hours away.. Got back my 50mm 1.4... but while I was there I decided to charge the battery. So I put the charger up on the wall and we went out to dinner. Came home and grabbed my camera and 50mm and left the house..

Came home to play with my camera.. CRAP left my battery and charger at his house!! And he's out all day today doing a wedding....

UGH. I even went to desperate measures of going to 3 Bestbuy, a Calumet, Ritz, Microcenter and a Hunts.. all of which did not have the LP-E6 in stock!! Some stores had a 3rd party charger. Man.. I'm out of luck. Friend is going to drop off my battery and charger tomorrow morning on his way to work...
