Video Editing Help

I have never video edited before and I need help. I have footage from two cameras at a wedding, and I would like to put together a final video on DVD that switches back and forthe between the two while keeping a continuous audio track. One of the two cameras was running the entire time so I can use the audio from it.

Cameras used are Canon FS100 x 2, file format is MOD files (MPEG-2, as I understand it.

I have premiere elements, and windows movie maker.
