Just wondering how they compare, since you could pick up a used 1DII for around the same as the 50D. I like my 50D, but I'd love to step up to the 1D line.

AF on the 1d blows the 50d out of the water. 50d screen is better, but you don't really need an awesome screen on the 1d. 50d has more meapickles, but I've done fabulous 24x36 out of my 1d. Jack
