10 or so frogs returned to our pond as they do every year a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd get a few shots of them before they took off again! Here's three of them, I can't believe how unique they all are! :p

Those are awesome. That light is fantastic. What is your lighting setup for these? The catchlight looks like a big softobox?

Thank you! :D

I use the Interfit EX150 Home Studio Flash Kit, which as you say includes a large softbox on the main light.

The main light was placed around 12" from the frogs (above, and slightly in front of them), and a second, 'naked' light was placed below, just infront of them and off to the left.

The background is just a wall in my living room. :)

Thank you! :)

I'm afraid to say that the shoot was actually set up indoors - I couldn't get the lighting I was looking for any other way! :p

Here's one of the residents from my parents' garden pond, photographed last summer when I was testing my Canon 450D:

"Unique frogs" These are common toads, but nice shots all the same.

Those eyes are great, clear and sharp.
I prefer the non-sepia versions.
