Looks like you are off to a good start.

What lens was this taken with?

Perhaps a slight up in the contrast in number 3 will bring out the different colours in the paint cans more?

In 4 the guys have the same smile, kind of freaky!

70-200 f4

I desaturated the paint picture a little. I'll try your suggestion and see what I get.

#4, I suspect the both had the same impetus for their perma-grins

I like 1 2 and 4, though I think 4 would be nicer with a tighter crop.
