Does anyone have a streetwalker backpack and 300 f/4? If so, how much space are you left with in the bag for other stuff? Can you post a photo?

Asking because I just ordered the Pro and might pull the trigger on a 300 f/4. I only own a gripped 40d + Sigma 30 f/1.4, though I would like to have the ability of the 40D + 300 f/4 + 2-4 more lenses.

Thanks.

The sticky post at the top of the forum for bag reviews is your first place to look. They have a review of the bag and he has a 400 in it so you can get an idea..

I have the Streetwalker Harddrive backpack which I believe is close to the same size. I think the Pro is maybe an inch or so shorter. But I'm certain the Streetwalker Pro would fit what you're asking about. You can also check out: http://www.cambags.com/ (external link) and click on backpacks....ThinkTank...and the Streetwalker Pro. In my Streetwalker Harddrive right now, I have the 200mm f2 mounted on my 1d4, hood reversed, 16-35, 70-200 f2.8, 50L, 1.4x and 2.0x extenders, 580EX, and a bunch of misc other stuff.

I had seen that photo. The thing was that I have never seen the streetwalker, 300 f/4 or 400 f/2.8 in person before to really gauge the sizes. And I know sometimes the calculation doesn't always translate well when trying to calculate specs from a website. So I didn't want to assume, and the pro is a bit smaller than the HD. Thanks though.

Yeah, I had the internal dimensions of the Streetwalker Pro and Streetwalker HD written down at work because I was wrestling with which one to get, before deciding to get the HD. The HD is 1.5" longer and 1.5" wider for internal dimensions.
