Nova Scotia and P.E.I

Hey there heading east this summer and was wondering if anyone has some spots in Nova Scotia and P.E.I that I should go to for some photos!!??

Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia is a well known spot!
Halifax, NS is a big port city. Lot's of stuff to shoot there!


Cavendish, PEI is nice too, they have white sand beaches! Super fun to photograph!

Nova Scotia is also well known for the Cabot trail, which has great scenery involving mountains (small ones) and sea. There are also wetlands, wildlife and interesting fishing villages as you circle Cape Breton Island. Halifax and Peggys Cove are very nice for photo ops, but other towns are, too: Lunenberg, Yarmouth, Chester, Mahone Bay, Annapolis Royal and Digby come to mind. The famous tides of Fundy Bay offer great opportunities. The Five Islands region is good for observing massive tidal changes, as well as lighthouses, villages, etc. The whole province is very picturesque.

PEI has some scenic shoreline, lighthouses and towns. Charlottetown, Summerville, cavendish and Kensington are the areas I recall best. Rural land here is pretty scenic, with rolling farms.

Of course, New Brunswick is another province worth visiting.

New Brunswick is home of Hopewell Rocks, Fundy Trail, Fundy Nature park, Fundy National Park and many more great points of scenery!

Definitely worth the drive to check it out! Very close to PEI and NS!

Since your in Digby, you can hop on the Ferry and come across to Saint John. Usually can see some porpouses swimming and such while on the boat. Then you can hit up the Irving Nature Park, and Martello Tower within 10 minutes from the ferry!
