I spent Saturday in Brooklyn visiting my son and future daughter-in-law. Had a grand time. I used my G11 for the entire day, took 280 photos, and was thrilled with the results. The "Low Light Setting" on the Settings Dial is incredible. Here is an example shot in a bar at f/2.8, 1/60th, ISO 2000, and 6MM. This shot could not be made with my old G10...it would have been way to noisy to be useful. The second shot, the USCG Cutter, was made from half a mile away and then cropped 50% at f/4.5, 1/125th, ISO 100, and 30MM.

From my all day test run:
G11 likes:low light capability, folding LCD, color, clarity, sharpness.
G11 concerns: size...in my big hands I am always hitting a button by mistake...I am still trying to decide the best way to hold it. Battery life...I got 280 shots on a fresh battery (Canon) and the battery indicator was blinking red. I did "chimp" most of my shots and I used the camera from 8AM to 6PM. Plus we all had to review the pictures taken so far at every stop.

Bottom Line: I love this little P&S! I do believe I could shoot a wedding with it!
