Psychedelic Wildflowers

We found some really nice patches of Lupines and Poppies right outside of Superior, AZ up Silver King Mine Road. I used my 17-40, ISO50 and F/22 to get a longer shutter speed and then I zoommed quickly while taking the shot. This pictures makes my head almost spin

In case you live in the area and want to see those flowers, you'll need a high clearance vehicle and get ready to do some mad scrambling up some pretty steep hills, but it is worth it.

The colors were just perfect for this technique. Fun. Very nice.

WOW!!! I spent two days at Bartlett Lake taking pics of all the poppies and lupine too! I just can't get enough right now. Yours is an Interesting take on the theme.

I have been out 4 wheeling the last few weekends. The flowers this year are wonderful.
