I was at the concert Sat. night, the guy in front of me said he was a photog. and the usher told him absolutely no photos aloud, none, zero.... He left came back and took plenty of photos.
Over all a good show.
That might have even been me. I behaved once they told me to stop. I thought it was the right thing to do. The band has never had a problem with it, and at times have encouraged it. The security is used to dealing with plays and those kinds of events, which are of course absolutely no photography. I can see how it would be hard for them to keep up with the different rules for the different shows.
I believe that the first duty of a photographer (amateur) is to be at the place or the event, and the photos are secondary. Honestly, taking the pics was causing me to miss the show, and I am kinda glad the way it worked out. I got to get some pics, but also got to enjoy most of the show.
