Like the last one. The first two don't do it for me.

Good job on a tough set up.

Not bad for your first attempt, but you MUST do something about the white balance. If you are not shooting RAW, you need to create a custom white balance inside your camera...these images are way too yellow. I would also advise to invest in a tripod so that you do not have to bump the ISO to 2000. As with everything the more you practice the better you become. Look forward to seeing some more of your work.

They are good, just need a lot of white balance help.

That is because your WB is off. Since you do not give us the permission to edit your photos, I cannot show you one of your pictures with the proper white balance.

just to advise, avoid shoot locations with yellow bulbs
I do a lot of auto and there is no way of getting rid of that yellow. Even with custom white balance the picture will look flat. Look for white lights, its harder but the pictures will look a lot nicer.

yes, shoot in RAW or find non-yellow bulbs. The wrong WB can break a picture. I like the subject though. Great use of space. Just fix the WB.

Yep, WB is terribly off. If you didn't shoot raw, the only save for these is going to be black and white :D

I would disagree about the yellow bulbs. Here's what I was able to do w/ crappy lighting.

OP: White balance is key. I think they are salvageable provided you fix WB.

Go into photoshop and go to Hue & Saturation, then desaturate the yellow. That should help quite a bit.

Here, I was bored. This is low-res obviously, but should give you an idea. The pics are still salvageable IMO.

Here's my crack at the last one. Maybe 5 minutes PP in Aperture 3. Would be even better with the RAW file too :)

Just lack of white balance.

To OP: On your 50D, there is a way to take a photo of something neutral (i would recommend of the bare concrete), and using that to custom white balance your shots for the ambient light. Consult your camera's manual on the specifics.
