If you are not shooting RAW, you need to create a custom white balance inside your camera...these images are way too yellow. I would also advise to invest in a tripod so that you do not have to bump the ISO to 2000. As with everything the more you practice the better you become. Even with custom white balance the picture will look flat. Look for white lights, its harder but the pictures will look a lot nicer. I would disagree about the yellow bulbs.
