Another great mosac Cat. I really must give this a go with my 2800mm scope some time. Crank it up to about f/40 or f/50 and take a few hundred frames, then blend them together. Problem is, my computer probably won't manage!! ;)

Well finally managed to get a Moon Mosiac done when the clouds let me.

Imaged on ED120 900mm F7.5 with a 3x Televue Powermate Barlows giving around 2700mm Focal length and around F23.

Done with QHY5 mono camera (CMOS)

About 60 panes here with over 65GB of avi's captured and processed.

Didn't quite get the dark parts sorted, but lessons learnt.

I don't understand everything you just said but WOW! A picture is worth a thousand words.
