Nonthing wrong with tht, all I use is a 16and i get over 800pics RAW and over 3000jpeg only

Unless your card gets corrupted during a shoot, then you're screwed. Accidents happen, like leaving the card in a reader at home. Backups are cheap, there is no reason to not have an extra card, even if its only a 2 or 4GB.

4^3 2gb cards?

Thats 128gb in just 2gb cards... that would be a PITA daylong shoot.

I'm curious to know how much (in GB's) memory card space you have for your DSLR in total. I have 4 cards, totalling 36GB's in space.

I have 64 gigs over 4 cards. each card is 16 gigs. Frys had this awesome deal when I was out in CA and I couldn't help but buy a few.

Thanks,
Mike

24 CF Cards in total

1GB x 2 - random independent manufacturer - bought with my 5D in Jan 2008
2GB x 2 - Fuji - bought in Jan 2008 from Dubai
4GB x 2 - Lexar - bought in Mar 2008 from Brazil
4GB x 14 SanDisk Ultras - bought in July 2009 from UK
8GB x 4 SanDisk Ultras - bought in Jan 2010 from UK

The fail rates on the SANDISK cards amount to ZERO. (I have 2 x CF card readers, Travel & Studio)
I have had issues with both the independent brand (unsurprisingly) and the Fujis! and annoyingly, I found the Lexars problematic on my 5D, however they worked perfectly on my 40D !

I am planning on purchasing a further 8GB x 12 CF's whilst here in Miami.... if anyone knows an honest vendor selling these especially cheap then please let me know!!!!
