I have both PhotoShop CS3 and CS4 on my computer. When using CS3 and clicking Import under Edit I am given a choice of using the scanner. However, the scanner does not show in CS4. Is there because it can't be connected to two versions at the same time? Suggestions please.

I have the same problem and it annoys me for now I have to do an extra couple of steps. Mine used to be under the IMPORT/TWAIN under File. Anyone have any output how to scan directly through CS4 PS?

Well, I'd like to know too, because I once had PS7 and CS2 installed together and could scan in both. Am.

When I use Paint Shop Pro there's a scanner button in the top toolbar.

I recently got CS4 and don't see one. But under file > import I get a list which includes my scanner. Works fine.

But I'd still like a button...

I have a Canon MP960 or something, not sure how it got there but I can choose File -> Import -> MP-960. Maybe try reinstalling your drivers?
