Is the same as the show I watched last week about the photographer Reza and his iconic photo of Massoud? In the special, Reza retraces his steps to taking that photo.

I was amazed that Reza had two Canons strapped around his neck, dangling. L lenses slapping around as he crawled over rock and into caves. He didn't seem too concerned about damaging his equipment. Made me wonder if some folks worry too much about the gear and not enough about the result.

Do you have a show title I can use to search with?

I have also fealt Sue.t's amazement at how some pro's treat their equipment. Of all the pros I have met, the one with the most widespread publication and longest career was also the one that handed me the dirtiest and most scratched up peice of L glass I have ever seen. I would be ashamed to flash a front element that dirty, but very proud of some of the images I know came from that lens.

Sorry I was inspired by the show and the Sun came out so I went outside. It is a top ten list of the best photos from 09/10 which are all incredible but I found the stories behind each photo and what it took to achieve them the most interesting. The interviews with the Photographers are also amazing. On my channel guide it just says National Geographic Photos and it airs here on the West Coast at 7:00 and 11:00 Pacific again tonight.I don't think anyone that watches it will be disappointed.

I'm in Canada so I hope that doesn't make a difference.

I'm in Australia. We'll probably get that programme in about three years.

Probably... Considering I'm 30 miles north of the southern border.

what i'm thinking about the pros is that they can afford to replace their glass if it gets broken so they dont BABY it like most ppl do... if i had money coming in left right and center i woudlnt worry about scratching my L glass or whatever..because i could get a new one the same day...

Found some more info on Nat Geo's site. There is a portion of video posted from the show I watched about Reza -- Walking in Massoud's Footsteps. Reza tells the story of how he got the shot and where he was when he took it.
