I do like his reviews but also seek personal experiences from other users. His reviews read well too which is a big plus.

The vII is a large improvement over the v1, which is an awesome lens as well. The fact that I'm getting "prime sharp" shots wide open with this lens is a testament to the improvements that Canon made on this workhorse lens. Name is Peter and here is my gear:
