I've posted these shots in a couple of other forums but I haven't really received any real critique yet, so I thought it'd be best for me to repost them here:

Any C&C would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Mar 29, 2010 18:39 | #5 Overall I feel you might have been a little tight with the compostions - we have a great presentation of the animal, with good smooth lighting - (what softbox were you using?) and the focus is on those eyes every time. However If one looks past the fantastic details you've got here (which is a strength of the shots for certain) one can see little nicks. Tools of the trade: Canon 400D, Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L M2, Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 OS, Canon MPE 65mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 24-70mm f2.4, Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, Raynox DCR 250, loads of teleconverters and a flashy thingy too

Mar 29, 2010 20:41 | #6 The shots are very sharp and well exposed. I like #2 because you can see where the frog is. Some look very "staged". I like the full color ones rather than the desaturated ones. Juan

Mar 29, 2010 20:49 | #7 Also in shot 2 there is what appears to be sensor dust or odd blotches in the background - just behind the frog and near the ground and also one just to the left of the midpoint along the topside of the shot - all easily removable with a quick touch of the spot heal brush Tools of the trade: Canon 400D, Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L M2, Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 OS, Canon MPE 65mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 24-70mm f2.4, Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, Raynox DCR 250, loads of teleconverters and a flashy thingy too
