Hi folks,
I am thinking if I should upgrade my T1i to a 7D. don't know if I should or not.
I take mostly family pictures and macros and sometimes indoor photos.
I like the AF and the large view finder on the 7D.
I was thinking that may be the AF on the 7D will be better for macro photos .
I am not sure if the IQ will be better than the T1i.
some input will be appreciated.

at the moment the lens that I have is :
17-55is, 18-200is, 100mm macro (non L)

Thanks for the input.
dan:)

Have you filled your wish list of lenses yet? I think you would be served by better glass before you upgrade the body, but if you are happy with your lenses, then perhaps it time.

Well I see you want better AF for macro photography. However, macros are typically done with manual focus. Just a suggestion.

I too would aim more towards upgrading my lenses at this point instead of a body. I think you will see a bigger jump in IQ with purchasing a lens than a 7D with your current lenses IMO.

How old are your kids? If I had young kids, I would spring for the 7D just for the focus system alone. No lens will save an OOF shot.

If money is no object a 5D II and more lenses. If it is glass before bodies especially in your case.
