100% sure! This is what I have done. I do believe and I might be wrong that Schneider distributes Lee products in the US. One more thing that I am not sure of but it is worth the try, you might be available to buy the ring directly from Schneider.

Thanks, but I already bought my ring and holder many moons ago. ;)

I just wanted to confirm what seemed odd to me at first, but perhaps Schneider is to Lee what Bogen is to Manfrotto.

I guess at that time they were easier to find :D The ring seems simple, I am surprised nobody retro engineer them.

Not sure about the nature of the relationship between Schneider and Lee but they somehow work together.

Schneider is a re-badged Lee kit...

Glad for you ;) Hope you'll enjoy your big-stopper and your vacation!

UPDATE: The Big Stopper came in the mail today! I can't wait to try it out during my vacation next week. By the way, Kenmore Camera was a GREAT recommendation. I don't know if they have anymore of these left in stock, but if they do and you're looking for one, don't think twice about getting it from them. They shipped fast and it was packaged properly. I would not hesitate to buy from this company again.

Thanks again, Blurryworld!

Man, I hope so...I need to get back in the groove before my trip to Monument Valley and Hunt's Mesa next month. Been real busy with work the past few weeks, but at least I finally tracked down a Lee 4x4 CPL...turns out Adorama had one in stock (should be here on Friday).

Agreed. They shipped mine that very same day it should be here tomorrow. I called late in the day, and they shipped it right then. Very cool.

I agree with you. Kenmore Camera offers a very very good service. They are really nice people.

And you are welcome ;)

I'm bad when it comes to doing camera math. Let's say the ambient light is 1/250 or at most 1/500. What's my shutter speed going to be after a 10 stop reduction?

From 1/500, you'd get 2 seconds with the big stoper if my math is right.

I made an excel sheet to do all those calculations for me. Of course it's at work but there is one floating around in these forums. Dont' guess. Just whip out a chart and and punch it in.
