I was on the waiting list for 2 months with 2filter (New Hampshire, US) before I got mine. May want to call them up and see when they are expecting some, and how long their waiting list is - they also know who else gets them so may advise you on where to look too.

LeeFilter suggested to me in a message that 2filter would be a good place to try to get one. I contacted 2filter and was told their backorder list isn't very long. While you might not find one in stock, at least you might get on a short backorder list.

Sharing a sample of the Lee Big Stopper. I did an exposure just for the water and then blended in a normal sky of the same scene. :)

Looks good.
I got a Big Stopper a couple of weeks ago, but not found the time to use it atm :-(
As the exposure was 70 seconds, did you use "Bulb" on your camera?

yes, bulb mode. I was only supposed to have it on for less than a minute, but went for more, then a little tweaking in LR3

Can the Lee Big Stopper be taken in and out of the holder easily allowing for composing, focusing and placement of a gnd or is it difficult due to the foam padding?

I usually keep the filter in the holder and take it off the ring and focus first. It's much easier.

It slides in an out about the same as any other filter. The foam doesn't get in the way.
