I'm having difficulty identifying this duck. Caught this yesterday late afternoon. Thanks

I believe it is a female Oldsquaw.

Yup, looks like a female Long-tailed duck from what I can tell.

Nice action shot with her taking off.

Imature drake Old Squaw going into spring plumage, the hens bill is a grayish blue colour, the drakes bill has the black with the rosey pink, nice capture of him taking off
