Brown headed Cowbird impressing the females

While out this weekend I saw a Brown-headed Cowbird "singing" for
it's mate. At first I thought it looked like a good Kung Fu Panda impression,
then like it was going to throw up, then it let out a burbling noise.
Very interesting...

Great series George. They really are pretty birds and these show it up well. I don't think I have caust this sequence yet. Only seen one male so far, and no females yet.

Thanks Mitch and Ken. This is the first time I've observed this behavior. We get a lot
of the Red-winged Blackbirds and Starlings, so this was a nice change up.

very nice set George, very nice light and detail, especially the kung fu shot. I have had alot of these guys show up just this week, I saw the same activity last night, wonderful shots!
