I too would bring my wide lenses but reading from the responses here and how they differ, I think it all boils down to your shooting style more than anything.
Ive never been to Yosemite but when i go to similair places i go wide.

I rarely need anything wider than 24mm on my 5D and rarely go that wide with it. I find I compose at about 50mm and if I go wider I start getting too much in my shots. Take what you have, maybe look at an UWA of some sort. I had the Tokina 12-24 and it was a good lens, it's only fault is that it's a CA monster. Rule books are paper they will not cushion a sudden meeting of stone and metal -ekg-

I found the 55-250 pretty useless so stuck with my 18-55 and got some great shots. I did a panorama with my 18-55 at Tunnel View and it turned out really nice.
