She is a great model and so easy to work with. Especially when a case of Heineken is involved ;)

I'm planning on shooting with her again real soon

I'm not liking the pic at all. I don't like how her side is cut out of the picture and her hand. Also I don't think Purple is a good color on her.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

Eyes aren't in focus. The bottle seems like it is more in focus than the model.. The composition is on which really brings out the fact that her eyes are not in focus. The crop is mediocre.

That's my two cents.

I actually was having some problems with the auto focus. Totally forgot I was having problems with it. Thanks for reminding me! I have other shots where my 580 EX II was the key and ones where the eyes are perfectly in focus, but the crop wasn't quite right. This shoot took about 8 minutes from start to finish as I was racing the sun.

I'll call up the model next week for a makeup shoot. Any other suggestions you guys can think of?? I have an entire arsenal of equipment at my disposal as I'm a Brooks student.

What color do you think would suit her?

the only suggestion is to make connections with more experienced photographers at Brooks. Also... you can quit Brooks and invest into some business classes, saving yourself (or your parents) tons of cash.
Photography is not a profession. You don't have to go to school for it :)
just a thought...
