This was a shot for my intermediate principles photo class. I'd like to re-do it sometime in the near future with different equipment, namely large strobes, and a new location. Check it out...

The lifeguard tower stands out more instead of the model. I feel that there are two different stories being told in this photo. I'd either incorporate the model with the tower or remove the tower altogether.

I would cut the light hitting the board. That bright yellow draws the eye away from the model. It needs to be toned down.

I would shoot it at sunrise. Do many people surf in the dark? I have no idea.
