Nice series. I've never managed to visit DC at the right time, so good for you. #1 is my pick of the first four, and #4 is better than #3..

Very nice photos, Rhilton4u! Of 1&2, that one's tough but I like 1 better. Of 3 and 4, I gasped on 4; it's perfect. 4 is one to print and frame. The others are nice too. In some ways it would be nice to have the place pristine w/o people, but despite that I'm not a people person, I think having people enjoy the cherry blossoms adds to the experience and the photos. Nice job!

3, 4 and 5 are my favs

3 for the amazing flare through the Jefferson memorial

4 for catching Marine 1 above Jefferson memorial in such great detail

5 for the BRILLIANT color in the entire pic

out of all, if i had to pick only one, i'd pick 5 to put on my wall

Really nice shots... I like the fact that you caught Marine 1 in this one.
Makes the 6:00 AM outing worth it!

I was really excited with the one with the helicopter too, but then I realized the cherry blossoms were out of focus and not well lighted. Kind of defeats the purpose...that's my only complaint with that shot.

They are great shots, I don't mind the out of focus cherry blossoms. I think it would be an issue if they were brighter, but since they are in the shadow area, I think it works. You can definitely get the feel of it.

The helicopter is the same model as Marine 1, but it is not a great chance that it is the actual Marine 1. Those kind of choppers fly around DC all the time. Some as decoys, and some on other missions. It very well might be Marine 1 however.
