I read many reviews about the Hoodloupe and people seem to agree that this is a great product. That being said most reviewers are using it while taking landscape pictures. In that setting it helps them review pictures without the glare from the sun.

I, on the other hand, want to use it for posing models and clients in live view mode. Anyone has experience doing this with this tool? The camera view finder is just too small to help in posing people and I am hoping this lensloupe will acct just like a bigger view finder.

Anny idea if this will work?

Appreciate your thoughts!

Why not shoot tethered? That'd solve the issue.
I'm considering one for outdoor use. The downside is that they are relatively bulky, and my camera bag is stuffed to the gills already. Can you say Super-Chimping?!

Tethered gives you quick feedback, but does not allow you to look and find for best camera position/pose combination. With a large view finder I can watch the subject turn his head and see the effects of different angles for example. Most portrait photographers are more casual in selecting pose and camera angle, they snap and recompose until they get something. I want to avoid the randomness of that this approach and have a more controlled method much like I shoot interiors for example.
