This is the first thing I took photos of with my new 50l lens, I am pretty happy with it so far.
I have to get the hang of the shallow DOF and try to learn how to get the images sharper. I set the ISO up a bit (1000) I was trying for a very small amount of the grain texture. I am sure that fights the Sharpness just a bit though?

In this photo I pushed it down to 1.4, I may try backing it down even further to 1.8 and try to get the whole thing in the focus? That may help the sharpness too I suppose

In terms of a generally appealing photo how else do you guys think I should change my approach?
