Any of the picture style setting sare going to have some effect on your .jpg conversion. Generally the neutral of faithful do less in terms of altering the raw data as it comes from the sensor. This is likely to result in less vibrant and softer looking images as they apply less sharpening and saturation than some of the other styles. But like egordon says above. You can save yourself the bother and shoot raw so you get even better control of the conversion to .jpg.

With your gear, I'm going to assume that you, as you should, shoot in RAW and leave any PP to software, not in camera.

Further assuming that you try to expose to the right, again as you should, as that's where most of the information resides.

And assuming that you peak at the histogram when you review your images to insure that you are, in fact ETTR, you should have those camera settings
as far negative as possible to insure they are not influencing that jpeg histogram reproduction, as they will, in your camera's LCD screen.

IIRC, neutral does not add any adjustments and Faithful is the same except the color temp is 5200K.

So unless you want absolutely no processing done, then it probably won't work for you. If you shoot neutral/faithful, the images need to be adjusted afterwards to give them a bit more pop.
