I know this is a terrible shot. I wanted to share anyway.
They are so high in the tree and with a sunny day this is the best I could get. I'm going to try for a better shot, but I'm usually at work during the day and it seems that the parent is gone in the evenings when I'm home. Baby and parent have been in the nest all day.
This is the first time I've seen baby sitting up on the edge instead of down in the nest where only the top of his head was showing.

It might actually be a nice shot, Janie, but it's hard to see with an image the size of a thumbnail. I don't know how big a crop this is, but try posting a larger version of it.

Well, at least you've seen one. When he get's older, you'll get better shots. :)

ok will try again. I've really been having trouble getting images the right size. I don't think it should be hard....
