Are there any good prices for a charger along with a 4-pack of AA batteries? Also another set of 4 or even 8 batteries would be good too! Thanks!

Costco usually has them for fairly good pricing.

walmart carries the duracell precharged rechargables which uses a similar technology, $12 for 4 AA's or $16 with a charger.

Walgreens too but make SURE you get the white topped batteries made in Japan, not the black topped ones made in China. The ones from Japan are rebadged Eneloops but the ones from China are something else and are not as good.

Also, it's worth it to pay a little extra and get a charger than can charge ANY number of cells rather than requiring 2 or 4. Not only are they more convenient but they do a better job charging each cell. The cheaper ones that must have an even number are charging two cells as one, in series. Not a big problem if both cells are at an equal state of discharge but if one is at 1/2 and one is at 1/4 the cells won't charge properly.

I posted this a while back:

Costco seems to periodically have a great price on these. You just need to watch for it.

Best of luck!
