I'm not sure if what I am looking for exists but if it does I figure this is the place to ask. I am looking for a large shoulder bag that can be slung over my neck and will hold two gripped bodies plus average sized lenses (24-105, 11-16, etc) "comfortably". I currently use the 7MDH clone and it is perfect except it is not quite big enough for my liking for all occasions. Such a bag may not exist or may cost more than I want to pay for it. If so I can deal with some lens swapping.

I guess what I am looking for is almost a small duffel bag, except I don't like the styling of most duffel bags.

Domkee F7 AF or Double F7

I think there is a review of these in the Camera Bag review area

The Lowepro Magnum series may be worth a look. Here's the 400 model, but there is one larger size:

Will you be carrying a laptop or netbook? Many larger bags make space for that.

I have a Billingham 307 which carries a great deal, very comfortably. I carried it fully loaded for 8 days in San Francisco recently and it carries very well. Much more comfortable that any of my previous bags with much less equipment in them. Pricey, but I would trade pricey for useful any day.

I also have the 207 and 107 for days I want to carry less.

Depending on how long the lenses are, Domke's F-1x or F-7 Double AF (I carry 2 bodies and 15-30 Sigma, 24-70L, 70-200 2.8 IS or 100-400 in the F1x, or all of the above in the F7, with room to spare in either case). The F7 allows you to vertically load the longer zoom on a body; in the F1 that pair has to go on its side. I use the Domke 720-230 insert in both these bags.

Thanks for the replies. The Domke F-7 looks like exactly what I am wanting, as far as styling and space. It costs a little more than I wanted to spend but I think I can go for it anyway. The reviews are all great for it so it looks like it is easily worth it.

You'll really like it. And they wear like iron.

Look at the larger models of the Lowepro Stealth Reporter. This is a waterproof bag series with zipper top entry; many pro features.

I have the 550 and its the best bag that's ever happened to me. Also, the 650 is a little roomier.

You may want to consider the Tamrac Pro 12 as well.

if you like your 7mdh, then you prob like the more squarish 8mdh as well:

Domke, billingham, lowepro, kata all have its equivalent. But I thought most people would go for a crumpler is because they dun want to shout "photo bag here!" I've observed a lot of brands of bags and there are only so few brands around that dun do that. The 8mdh is one of the answer to my findings ^^.

You're in trouble now.. you get one Domke and you will end up with more. :)

I recently purchased a Crumpler December Quarter, it might be exactly what you are looking for:

http://www.cambags.com …december_quarter_desc.htm (external link)

It's actually a bit too large for me, considering I only have one body, though it's nice when I need the put all my lenses in there. It's comfortable and tons of room/padding/compartments, you can even put a laptop (up to 17") in it.
